Danielle Alex on Cooking Channel’s “Food: Fact or Fiction”

Exciting News!!! You can catch me on a few episodes of Food: Fact or Fiction on the Cooking Channel. The show explores the origins and history behind some of our favorite foods. Do some dishes  really make you feel better or is it just a myth? Was that recipe developed on purpose or was it by accident? If you know me, I’m somewhat of a history buff, so taping this show was a real joy and honor. I was able to share two of my passions on film, food and history.

I’m a guest on two episodes entitled “Disastrous Dishes” and “Bloodlines.” In both episodes I talk about my favorite…chocolate cake. If you want to learn how Brooklyn Blackout Cake got its name, watch “Disastrous Dishes.” Or maybe German Chocolate Cake is your favorite, check out “Bloodlines.” If you missed either episode, no worries because you can still catch them on the Cooking Channel. I’ve listed the future air dates of both episodes below.
